Proud Clothing Company

On March 13th, 2021, I lost my best friend, Ben, to his battle with depression. That day is etched in my memory the overwhelming grief, the disbelief, the weight of it all. In the years that followed, I wrestled with guilt, anger, and heartbreak, struggling to find a way forward. It took time, but I finally allowed myself to heal and to forgive.

Ben always dreamed of starting a clothing brand. While this may not be exactly what he envisioned, I wanted to create something that not only honors his legacy but also builds a community in his name. Proud is more than a brand; it’s a movement a celebration of the unapologetic, bold spirit Ben embodied. He had a way of lighting up a room, of making people feel seen, valued, and empowered. That’s what this brand is about: embracing who you are and standing proud in it.

The stigma surrounding mental health is real, and the lack of understanding and support is devastating. Too many people suffer in silence. With Proud, we want to do more than just start conversations we want to break barriers, uplift others, and inspire confidence in those who need it most.
